Hi, I'm Trevor Garza, and my artistic journey began in elementary school, where I made my first "sales" selling Dragon Ball Z drawings to classmates. That early spark ignited a lifelong passion for creating art in all its forms. For me, art is more than a profession – it's a universal language that allows me to express ideas and emotions that words alone cannot capture.
With over a decade of experience as a video editor, I've had the privilege of crafting movie trailers for prestigious organizations like Austin Film Society, Kino Lorber, and Alamo Drafthouse, along with numerous independent studios. My love for visual storytelling extends into model photography, a 15-year journey that has allowed me to capture countless compelling portraits of friends and collaborators.
My creative toolkit expanded further when I ventured into graphic design and motion graphics, producing dynamic content for Austin Film Society and Mood Studios. During the 2020 Covid lockdown, I embraced the challenge of learning rotoscope animation from scratch – a skill that led to my role as an animator on Richard Linklater's innovative Netflix animated film, Apollo 10 1/2.
I consider myself a jack of all trades and master of some, with particular expertise in film, model photography, and digital painting. The thrill of mastering new artistic skills drives me forward, and I'm constantly seeking fresh creative challenges to push my boundaries.
Based in Austin, Texas, I work with clients worldwide through remote collaboration and commissions. If you're looking to bring your creative vision to life, I'd love to hear from you. Let's create something extraordinary together.
